Materials evaluation and development
team retains material technologies for thermal power plant,
plastic molding steel and roll which are on leading level
in the world. And we also have developed welding process
and nondestructive test, defect evaluation and analysis.
For the localization of the USC(ultra super critical) thermal
power plant materials production, we developed the alloy
design and the production process of turbine materials.
We choose boiler materials which are verified in abroad,
develop welding process and evaluate the reliability. In
manufacturing process, we focus on elevating the product
quality to reduce the cost and developing new process to
increase the capacity. We have improved the maintenance
technology and developed special welding process for new
materials to raise the power plant service capacity. The
works have contributed to the business development. We are
constructing the data base for turbine and boiler technology
and have conducted long term reliability evaluation to establish
the life time of power plants.
