EP Control Systems ensure the safe
and efficient operation of electrostatic precipitators and
their various parts. Doosan designs, develops and supplies
a variety of control systems (EP Monitoring System, Dust Concentration
Monitoring System Panel, EP Control Panel, Sub Panel, SI-TR
Control Panel & EP Distribution Panel) that are used for
monitoring and controlling electrostatic precipitators. |

Structure and Characteristics |
| |
• EP Monitoring Systems (OIS System)
display and control EP operation conditions,
such as the level of dust concentration in EP input/output
modules, boiler load and real time
trends. • EP Control Panels manage the operational
conditions through a PLC, while maintaining
optimal control and monitoring functions through data
communication with the SI-TR/DCMP. |

System |
| |
• The key interlock system is installed to
protect operator safety when entering the electrostatic
precipitator for maintenance and repair. The MCCB key
operates via an interface device in the ¡°Main Key Exchange
Box¡± of the MCCB key, located at the grounding attachment
(Grounding System) of the precipitator manhole and SI-TR.
It also functions to prevent safety hazards by blocking
pulse energization when the manhole is open.
Other facilities include a: Local Control System
for localized operation of the rapper, seal fan and
vibrometer; Dust Concentration Monitoring System to
measure and control dust concentration capacity at
the electrostatic precipitator input and output modules;
¡°Hopper Level Switch¡± to monitor the level of the
Hopper.
