rights management from that of third parties, such as our suppliers and business
partners. Doosan Enerbility's human rights policy stipulates that basic human rights have to
be guaranteed, regardless of a person’s origin, religion, gender, race or any other
conditions.
As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, Doosan abides by the 10 Principles of the
UN Global Compact relating to human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.
Based on internationally recognized human rights principles, such as
the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights: Ruggie Framework, we
have established and are operating a human rights due diligence framework to
assess the human rights management practices and inspection system.

Doosan Enerbility respects the local residents’ rights to life in all the countries that we operate, and also respect their freedom of residence and right to move, their right to individual safety and their property rights. In regard to environmental issues, Doosan Enerbility follows the principle of preventive approach and has developed plans for preventing or reducing environmental degradation and disasters.
Doosan Enerbility will take precautionary measures as specified by law in the design, manufacturing, and marking of products to prevent any harm from being inflicted on customers in their life, health and safety due to product defects. In the event of any damage, Doosan Enerbility will inform customers of the danger and take the necessary steps, such as immediately recalling the products in question. As Doosan Enerbility respects our customers’ privacy, we will take the necessary steps to ensure the security of their personal information.
